A. Yes, the Designer's Curve® is used for all lines above the waist and has a proper front and back armhole. The Tailor's Curve is used not only for the waist, hip line, upperinseam, front crotch curve, backcrotch, but for teo piece suite sleeves, sleeves, men's patterns and coats and jackets.
A. No, the others do not have a proper front or back armhole and is just a french curve, and the other is known as a curve stick just for circular skirts. We have trademarks and copyrights on these tools. Beware of imitations!

A. The minimum amount of ease is already built into the Lutterloh Patterns.
A. Seam or item allowance is not included with the Lutterloh patterns. You can either trace the seam on cloth with tailor's chalk or use the OLFA® Guide Arm to add since it doesn't have any.
A. The true lefthand scissors, the blades are reversed. The lefthand ones, only the handle is reversed and the handle is 1/2 inch larger than the Tru-Left.

A. There are very few children or mens patterns in the system. They can be purchased separately.
A. The Classic Full Figure is for ladies 48-60 inch styles. The 2XXL is for people over 60 inches or 140cm.
A. The Walking Foot fits most machines except for Viking and Bernina after 1993 before 1993. You will need a shank adapter for Berninas.
A. The Roller Foot fits on most machines. Either take off the whole shank or snap on. Bernina requires 2 special shank adapters. Snap on foot does not work on 10 years or older snap on feet.
A. With the Fashion Supplements, we do the designing for you. The designs are already put together. With the Design Books, you take the basic patterns and do your own designing from the basic pattern pieces, either commercial or Lutterloh® Patterns. Fashion Supplements are a convenience if you do not want to do your own designing.
A. There are letters in the corner of the patterns. A is sewed to B, B is sewed to C, and continues in that order. There are no detailed instructions, however there is a symbol page in the system telling you what the pieces are.
A. Yes you can purchase any supplement separately but keep in mind you will need to special scale.
A. The Quarterly Fashions Supplements are published in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. The Childrens, Mens, and Full Figure are published evey 4-6 years.
